Okay, trying to hash out some numbers. (I'm completely new to this, so in case I'm doing something inappropriate: Sorry! I'm not trying to game the system, I just don't quite know how exactly the system works yet!)

Fandom: MASH (TV), Character: Margaret Houlihan
92 fics on AO3, 283 on fanfiction.net
I understand that technically she's ineligible, but I noticed that in a previous FAQ, you said exceptions might be made for older fandoms that aren't really active anymore, or something along those lines?
MASH first aired in 1972, and there's hardly any fandom activity these days. Of those 283 fics, only 7 were posted in the past year. Is there any chance Margaret Houlihan could be eligible?

Fandom: Community, Character: Britta Perry
559 fics on AO3, 204 on fanfiction.net
Britta fairly often gets tagged in fics where she's only a minor side character. I went through the first five pages of results on AO3 and found only 65 (out of 100) fics that looked like there was any focus at all on her. Could that mean that she's eligible?

Fandom: Cabin Pressure, Character: Carolyn Knapp-Shappey
759 fics on AO3, no character tag on fanfiction.net
On fanfiction.net, there are only 364 Cabin Pressure fics in total, and on the first page of results, I found only 6 (out of 25) fics whose summaries indicated that Carolyn would play any kind of role in them.
On AO3, Carolyn gets tagged in a lot of fics where she only makes a brief appearance or has a minor part, because the actual focus of the fic is the men around her. I checked the first five pages here, too, and found only 47 (out of 100) fic in which Carolyn seems to be an actually important part of the story. Might that make her eligible?
